In order to take his mind off of Hurricane Dean, Roberto watched the LA Galaxy VS DC United.
Roberto expected another loss from the LA Galaxy and more criticism of Beckham. Roberto was angered to the point of expletives that Beckham received a booking. It is these referees who do not have the training that awards these bookings for nothing.
The Dynamic Duo of Beckham and Donovan worked their magic and scored a goal each for the Galaxy. Roberto was extremely happy to the point that he drunk more cold lattes and started dancing around his room. Many people in Roberto’s House thought that he had too much coffee but his daughter stated: “This is Soccer; you celebrate when you win and get mad when you lose”. Roberto’s Daughter received a blessing from her father for her support.
Those who doubted Beckham deserved to be told to Get Real, Get a Life, and Enjoy the Game. It is never nice to underestimate neither Beckham nor Donovan. It is also fitting to use the phrase from the rock group Queen to describe US Soccer. “We are The Champions of the World and We Will Keep on Fighting to the End. We Are the Champions, We Are the Champions, No Time for Losing, cause we are the Champions of The World”.
We rocked the world with Beckham and Donovan. Roberto immediately made reservations to buy tickets for the Miami FC Game against Charleston to celebrate this memorable victory.
The game was a fitting end to a stress filled day of traffic tie ups and a hurricane threat.
