Radio Netherlands & Myanmar [ES] [EN]

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-30 - 16:45:56

Radio Nederlands is increasing its shortwave transmissions for Burma [Myanmar] in its struggle for liberty. I declared my solidairty with Radio Nederlands [I am a shortwave listener of this station since 1979] and hoped that they could extend the solidarity with the American Continent especially Cuba, Venezuela, and the USA

EEUU 4-1 Noruega/USA 4-1 Norway

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-30 - 16:43:36

EEUU 4-1 NORUEGA

USA 4-1 NORWAY

After an exciting game against Norway, the US Womens Team obtained third place in the FIFA Womens World Cup 2007.

The US Women’s Team deserves congratulation with one advice. It is necessary that the present coach be replaced by Mia Hamm or Julie Fouty in order to place US Womens Football in the Right Track.

Congratulatons for Germany in its victory!!!!!

Chelsea 0-0 Fulham [ESP]

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-29 - 17:22:38

Ambos equipos no golearon, hubo amonestaciones, expulsiones, y lesiones. Un juego patetico.

Chelsea 0-0 Fulham

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-29 - 17:21:02

Fulham went to play at Stamford Bridge and Roberto became disappointed.

Roberto had hoped that Chelsea would be able to go ahead with its problems almost resolved but not even Drogba could perform.

What could be said about a performance that appeared to be like a mournful dirge for Mourinho? The game had substitutions, bookings, and send offs. There was a fractured cheekbone. The referees were almost mediocre.

Chelsea and Fulham played their worst game in the Premier League. Many people were mumbling and supporting Mourinho here in Miami Florida. Others like myself had to find refuge in the red wine and cold coffee with milk.

What Chelsea and Fulham needs is organization and discipline. While Roberto has a soft heart for Chelsea, and was a Physician, he prescribes for Chelsea the song by Queen: “We Will Rock You/ We Are The Champions”

Chelsea 0-0 Fulham

Chelsea: 0/10
Fulham: 0/10

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-29 - 16:43:58

Bush/Clinton Dynasty

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-28 - 21:04:59

A MONARCHY FOR AMERICA

According to a poll by the Associated Press, 40% of US Citizens have never lived in a USA when there was never a Bush or a Clinton in the White House.

Since 1989, by vote or by accident; the Republicans and the Democrats have been dividing their time in power between Bush and Clinton. From 1989 to 1993, it was George Bush [Father]. From 1993-2001, Bill Clinton was President. Since 2001, George Bush [The Son] is President.

Imagine if Bush finishes his second term and Hillary Clinton is elected President for the period of 2008? Imagine if Hillary Clinton after being elected President in 2008 is reelected for 2012?

This would be nearly three decades of a Bush Clinton Dynasty. Add more years under Jeb Bush or Future generations of Bush and then we have a Monarchy dressed as a Federal Republic.

This leaves the US with three choices:

1. Accept the Bush Clinton Dynasty as it is with the USA pretending to be a Republic.
2. Be Truthful and Replace the Republic with a Monarchy. The Bush Clinton Dynasty is all ready in full swing.
3. SAY NO TO THE REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS AND SAY YES TO A LIBERTARIAN GOVERNMENT.

TIME FOR RYAN TO QUIT

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-28 - 21:04:27

TIME FOR RYAN TO QUIT

After the worst defeat in the history of the US Women’s Soccer, the three Queens of US Soccer; Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, and Brandi Chastain has declared that the current coach Ryan has placed US Women’s Football in the Starting Line as in the early 1990’s.

The Three Queens have decided that Ryan must go and there must be reorganization after the humiliation in the Women’s World Cup in China.

Roberto is in agreement and as a supporter of the US Football [Soccer] Team publicly demands that Ryan step down and be replaced by Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, or Brandi Chastain.

The reason is that Greg Ryan does not possess the knowledge to lead a US Women’s Team while Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, or Brandi Chastain could contribute to a reorganization of US Women’s Football with their style and experience.

Mourinho & Lisboa

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-28 - 18:04:07

According to a news segment from the BBC, A Former Prime Minister of Portugal angrily stormed off a TV Station after the station interrupted his interview to show a special segment commemorating the return of Mourinho to Portugal.

Personally, Football is better than some Politician.

Hidding [segun su agente] para Chelsea: No

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-28 - 03:22:54

Hiddink's Agents to Chelsea: No

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-28 - 03:19:53

After Grant received a reprieve from the UEFA, Hiddink’s Agent announced that Hiddink is not interested in Chelsea.

The agent further announced that Hiddink is needed in the Russian National Team to help them with Euro 2008. The announcement followed the rumour about Hiddink going for the job as manager of Chelsea in case Grant could not obtain a dispensation for the UEFA Pro Licence. The rumour went further since Abramovich and Hiddink are supposedly on speaking terms.

The agent further warned that if Hiddink were to leave Russia without helping the national team, Abramovich [who is Russian] could end up antagonizing many people in Russia including the ones who are the most powerful.

Chelsea on the other hand is under pressure to repeat its victory over Hull in its game against Fulham at Stamford Bridge. After reading the EPL Predictions by Matchreporter, Roberto thinks that Chelsea will win against Fulham 1 to 0.

SE FUE LA FAMILIA DEL JEFE DE LA JUNTA MILITAR EN MYANMAR

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-28 - 02:39:09

FAMILY OF MYANMAR MILITARY JUNTA CHIEF LEAVES COUNTRY

According to Merinews Reporter Shyamal Sarkar, the family of Myanmar’s Military Junta Chief left Myanmar for Laos. The Airplane carrying the Family of Than Shwe left Myanmar for Laos in the middle of a turmoil which left nine dead [possibly many more dead]. Who knows what will happen.

Merinews was the first to break the news to an unsuspecting world.

Chelsea, Brasil, y EEUU

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-27 - 17:20:15

Brazilian Surprise in China

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-27 - 17:08:01

I was able to hear the Brazil VS the USA Game on my shortwave radio.
The pundits expected the USA to defeat Brazil but the USA started with a self goal by Leslie Osbourne. The decision to substitute Hope Solo in favour of Briana Scurry as a goalkeeper was a disaster.

Brazil took advantage of these disasters that were self inflicted to goal past Briana Scurry and tear the US Dream Team to shreds. Brazil deserves praise and much more.

The US needs to return to the basics.

Good News for Grant

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-27 - 17:07:27

Grant has just received the good news that UEFA will not take any action against him over his lack of a licence. In fact, UEFA is waiting an outcome from the discussions between Chelsea, The Premier League, and the Israeli Football Association. This is welcome news for Chelsea although Roberto is of the opinion that Grant should study and obtain the licence in case UEFA changes its minds

Mala Noticias Para Chelsea

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-27 - 14:01:12

More Bad News for Chelsea

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-27 - 13:46:35

In an apparent crash towards reality, the FA has accused Chelsea and its Assistant Manager Clarke for unsportsmanlike behaviour during their defeat to Manchester United.

To further compound the misery, Mikel’s Three Match Ban was upheld by the FA.

The punishment was a response to England Captain John Terry grabbing the red card from referee Mike Dean as he was sending off Mikel for his unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Regardless, Clarke and Chelsea have been paying the price for Terry’s behaviour. While I am not surprised about Chelsea recently having problems with the legal arm of the FA, it must be remembered that referees have become increasingly arbitrary in their decisions.

In fact, there should be a licence requirement for the referees. It appears that the referees should learn from the same standards as the managers who apply for a UEFA Pro Licence.

Chelsea also has the responsibility to control its emotions and find ways to avoid conflict with the FA. This is because Grant is still a temporary manager without a licence and UEFA could use the Chelsea VS Manchester United Fracas as an excuse to make Grant’s Period with Chelsea a Living Hell.

Nouvelle Le Monde [Reza Pahlavi] [FR]

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-27 - 02:10:10

Burma [Myanmar] In Flames

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-27 - 01:52:00

Burma [Myanmar] continues to be in flames with the military regime repressing Buddhist Monks. In response, the Buddhist Monks, The Buddhist Nuns, and Students are resisting the Military Regime which has governed Burma [Myanmar] since 1961. It is about time that people show their support for this new example of People Power which is exposing the Burmese Socialist Military Junta to its weakness.

Buenas Noticias para Chelsea

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-27 - 01:48:40

Good News For Chelsea

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-27 - 01:21:03

Michael Ballack who is the midfielder for Chelsea has declared his intentions to “regain full fitness to return to Chelsea in no time” after participating in his recovery effort from surgery . He is still struggling with the problems in his ankle.

While Ballack is in recovery mode and after the support of Southgate for Grant; more good news for Chelsea. Chelsea played Hull at Hull City for the Carling Cup in front of 23,543 spectators. It was the miracle that was needed after a week of turbulence following the “Great One’s Departure.

While the first half was just a struggle for both teams to gain possession, it was Chelsea that seized the moment with the first goal of the game by Scott Sinclair. Roberto was celebrating the first goal by Sinclair in his career with Chelsea and it was a great goal by a low blow.

The second half was exciting with Chelsea forgetting their troubles and scoring goals after goals by Kalou and Sidwell. This was Chelsea proving its worth after Mourinho departed. It was like if the spirit of “The Great One” was there. Not even Wright Phillip’s Injury and the Hull playing defensively affected the play made in heaven. Roberto was celebrating with his usual mixture of red wine followed by cold latte.

Hull tried to make a comeback but were unable to perform to the expectations of the home crowd. But they fizzled down in the process. In the end, justice was served in favour of Chelsea.

Southgate Supports Grant in Chelsea

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-26 - 21:12:30

In response to Sir Alex Ferguson’s criticism, Middlesbrough Manager Southgate has thrown his support to Grant.

It must be remembered that Southgate did not have the UEFA Pro Licence when he became Manager of Middlesbrough. Southgate became Manager under the condition that he worked towards obtaining his licence.

Regardless of whether a licence makes a good manager or not depends on the individual taking the course. It should also be remembered that dispensation does not mean the easy way out. The UEFA Pro Licence is a requirement and it must be adhered to.

Roberto would love to see something similar to the UEFA Pro Licence take hold in the MLS or other leagues in the American Continent. To conclude, if Roberto lived in England; he would not have minded taking courses to be a coach or manager in an FA Team.

Chelsea Saga

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-26 - 18:47:23

It seems that the Chelsea story took an unexpected turn. It has been rumoured that Abramovich was in contact with Van Basten and Hiddink with a job offer as Chelsea Manager. The three deny that such an encounter existed. But these how stories get started and evolve. It would be interesting to see how this story progresses.

Anatomia de la Crisis en Chelsea

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-26 - 18:30:46
