Roberto was able to wake up and listen to the Fifa Women’s World Cup 2007 on his shortwave radio in the family room. US played Sweden in Chengdu, China on the day of the 14th of September 2,007.

Roberto was afraid of a draw or a defeat. It appeared that neither team were going to move forward and Robert was apprehensive drinking four cups of cold coffee. When Abby Wambach scored the first goal in the first half, Roberto was celebrating by dancing around the family room although silently as not to wake his family.

He remained happy and confident throughout the game only to jump up and down to the second goal by Abby Wambach. Unfortunatly, his celebration was short lived because he woke up his wife and daughter [as well as everyone in the neighborhood]. Regardless, Roberto kept listening and drinking more cups of cold coffee as a way of expressing joy until the game ended.

The USA was able to rise from near elimination in this must win game. Abby Wambach gave life and structure to the US Women’s Team. Ms. Wambach was able to take a team that was almost demoralized secondary to its draw against North Korea and gave it a sense of direction, discipline, and consistency. This will be needed in the following game against Nigeria. The USA must win against Nigeria in order to remain active in the Women’s World Cup. At the present time, the USA is in first place in Group B followed by North Korea, Nigeria, and last place Sweden.

LIBERTARIAN RESPONSE TO BUSH’S SPEECH

As I am sitting down and watching Bush’s Speech [which interrupted a Press Conference in Miami Florida of a search by Federal, State, Municipal, and County Police of an individual who killed one police member and wounded four others], the need to respond was necessary. As the Democrats under a certain Senator Reed responded, the need to respond was urgent.

Bush, his Republicans and Democrats have everything wrong.

Bush and the Republicans have stated that America never abandons an ally yet they have abandoned their allies over the years, Bush and the Republicans talk about a “free” Iraq yet they did not talk about freedom when it comes to elections when alternative parties are not invited to debates and have to comply with tough electoral procedures that favor the governing elite.

The Democrats have claimed to oppose the invasion of Iraq yet the majority of the Democrats voted for the war, voted with the Republicans to trample on the Constitution with the creation of the Patriot Act and the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. Right now, the Democrats present themselves as the party opposed to the invasion of Iraq when they should have done this in 2003.

The Cold War has ended and the time has come for the USA to withdraw troops not only from Iraq but from the Middle East, from Europe, from Asia [Korea included]. The world can take care of themselves and shoulder their responsibility without the need for the USA. The USA helps the world but its infrastructure hemorrahges. The USA should retire from ALL International Organizations such as the UN, IMF, World Bank, NATO, and so on. The Libertarians AND George Phillies opposed the war against Iraq from the beginning and have even circulated a petition to remove those who voted for this folly in Iraq.

The people who have suffered have been the civilians in Iraq, the soldiers who are fighting for a cause based on a lie. Only a Government by the Libertarians and George Phillies can assure that troops can come home and the US can take care of itself without the need for big government. If the present situation continues, the people have themselves to blame by allowing the Republicans and Democrats to be in power and destroy the USA.

RESPUESTA LIBERTARIA A BUSH

Estoy mirando el discurso de Bush y los Democratas respondiendo a Bush. Hay que pensar que los dos siguen equivocado. Ambos prometen no abandonar a sus amigos pero apoyan a Castro y Chavez con el propisto de mantener una economia a base del trabajo barato.

Ambos hablaban de Iraq cuando en realidad ambos partidos votaron a favor de la invasion de Irak. La solucion es una retirada de las tropas de Irak, y del mundo pues los EEUU no puede salvar el mundo mientras que cae su infraestructura. Los EEUU debe retirar de las organizaciones internacionales y concentrar en arreglar su infraestructura.

Solamente un gobierno Libertario bajo el mando de George Phillies es capaz para salvar a los EEUU de los compromisos debilitadores y llevarselo hacia el camino de la Constitucion de 1787.
