Southgate Supports Grant in Chelsea

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-26 - 21:12:30

In response to Sir Alex Ferguson’s criticism, Middlesbrough Manager Southgate has thrown his support to Grant.

It must be remembered that Southgate did not have the UEFA Pro Licence when he became Manager of Middlesbrough. Southgate became Manager under the condition that he worked towards obtaining his licence.

Regardless of whether a licence makes a good manager or not depends on the individual taking the course. It should also be remembered that dispensation does not mean the easy way out. The UEFA Pro Licence is a requirement and it must be adhered to.

Roberto would love to see something similar to the UEFA Pro Licence take hold in the MLS or other leagues in the American Continent. To conclude, if Roberto lived in England; he would not have minded taking courses to be a coach or manager in an FA Team.

Chelsea Saga

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-26 - 18:47:23

It seems that the Chelsea story took an unexpected turn. It has been rumoured that Abramovich was in contact with Van Basten and Hiddink with a job offer as Chelsea Manager. The three deny that such an encounter existed. But these how stories get started and evolve. It would be interesting to see how this story progresses.

The Raw Sewage of US Mainstream Media

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-26 - 15:03:55

It has come to my attention that Dan Rather has initiated a lawsuit against CBS. The problem is not CBS or Dan Rather. The Problem is the US Mainstream Media and its culture of hypocrisy, racism, and intolerance [which is inherent in the USA].

The US Mainstream Media is a conglomerate that excluded minorities or placed them in a negative light. Who cannot forget when Polly Gonzalez [US Latin TV Reporter for CBS 8 in Las Vegas Nevada who lived from 1961 to 2005] confronted Dan Rather [during Dan Rather's visit to CBS 8 in Las Vegas] about the lack of Latin and US Latin representation in the US Mainstream Media. What about Maria Elena Salinas [US Latin born in California] being sidelined and marginalized by an ABC Affiliate in Los Angeles in the beginning of her career?

What about the new kid in the block called American Latino TV? It is addressing itself as another alternative to the Spanish Language TV such as Univision and the mindless US Mainstream Media.

No wonder minorities have gone ahead to form Univision, BET, and other channels. It is also not surprising that a group of US Latinos have formed American Latino TV for the US Latino who prefers to speak English.

The US Mainstream Media calls itself the champion of democracy and human rights but excludes Libertarians, Greens, and other Alternative Groups from their broadcasts.

It is not surprising that people have turned off the US Mainstream Media in favour of the BBC, Press TV, Al Jazeera, Kol Isreal, and CBC [Canada]. It is also not surprising that the Libertarians and Greens have formed their own networks on the World Wide Web.

The US Mainstream Media calls itself fair and balanced with regards to religion. What happens is that the US Mainstream Media derides all forms of belief in God or a Superior Deity. The result is that another population is alienated resulting in the formation of Christian TV, Islamic TV, and the rest its history.

My suggestion to the US Mainstream Media is to look yourself in the face and take a long examination. The US Mainstream Media paints itself as a beauty on the outside but the inside has the smell of raw sewage.

Euro Yes.

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-26 - 15:02:35

It appears that the US Governing Elite of Republicans and Democrats live in sort of isolated environment thinking that they dominate the world. They and their followers point to the almighty US Dollar dominating the world and that with reduction in dollars, the world will bow to them.

The reality is that the Governing Elite in Washington and their followers are scrambling to maintain their decreasing power. Iran [according to Press TV and corroborated by Financial News] now has 70% of its Foreign Reserves in Euros. North Korea in retaliation for the sanctions placed on them have Euros. In fact, those who support Kim Jong Il and want to visit and make purchases in his website stores must do them in Euros.

Many store fronts accept Euros instead of Dollars. There are even authors who accept Euros instead of Dollars. The Educated US Citizen who have seen the Republicans and Democrats destroy the USA under the guise of "American Nationalism" have exchanged their Euros for Dollars. [Remember there is no such a thing as American Nationalism, loyalty is based on money].

There are webpages that deal with how to leave the USA and exchange US Dollars into Euros. The Businesses of Exchanges of Dollars into Euros have increased since the so called War On Terror, the Execution of Hussein, and the Columbia President insulting the President of Iran.

With this and much more, the Euro is gradually replacing the US Dollar.

Chelsea and Grant without a UEFA Pro License

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2007-09-26 - 13:39:34

It is not enough that Chelsea lost its first Post Mourinho Game to Manchester United. Chelsea and Grant are in crisis.

One of the reasons as previously stated is that the new manager Grant lacks the UEFA Pro License. Roberto wrote: “Grant No Manager License”. Afterwards, Sir Alex Ferguson of Manchester United announced that Manchester United will oppose Grant as Manager on the basis of a lack of license.

Sir Alex Ferguson is in favour of the need for the UEFA Pro License and has opposed Roeder and Southgate has managers for this reason. Roeder was able to be manager of Newcastle since he was given an extension secondary to his health. Southgate was able to be manager of Middlesbrough secondary to “restricted opportunities since he was an International Coach”. O’Neill was able to receive an exemption after taking a refresher course. O’Neill became manger of Aston Vila after the exemption.

Many will state that Grant has not been manager for five years and that he has a license in Israel. Regardless, UEFA and the Premier League sent a letter to Chelsea informing them of the qualifications.

UEFA, The Premier League, and Sir Alex Ferguson are justified in asking that Chelsea and Grant conform to the rules of the UEFA Pro License requirements. It is important for Grant and Chelsea that this matter be resolved the sooner the better.

If Abramovich thinks that money will resolve this issue, he should listen to the Beatles song titled: “Can’t Buy Me Love”. Abramovich should listen to the verse that says: “I don’t care too much for money, money can’t buy me love”. In the case of Chelsea and Grant, Studies Not Money will get Grant the UEFA Pro License.
