Los debates del Partido Democratico parecen seca. Como los Republicanos, los Democratas carecen de conceptos. Mientras tanto, la gente quieren ver lo ultimo en Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, y Luis Miguel. La gente se mueren en America Latina, El Medio Oriente, Africa, y Asia. La infraestructura de los EEUU esta quebrada. Estamos entregando dinero a la ONU y otras organizaciones cuando nosotros somos los necesitados. Hay tiempo para todo, incluso para estudiar la postura de los candidatos. Mi decision fue hecha hace tiempo. Mi voto va para George Phillies y El Partido Libertario.

George Phillies y El Partido Libertario quieren la construccion de un EEUU justo con respeto a las leyes y la Constitucion. George Phillies y El Partido Libertario quieren el retiro de los EEUU de la ONU y otras organizaciones internacionales que no sirven los intereses de los EEUU [incluso el dinero contribuido a la ONU pueden ser major utilizado en los campos de la salud, la educacion, incluso para los individuos para que ellos pueden decider lo que quieren hacer.

George Phillies y El Partido Libertario quieren un estado que no interfiere en los asuntos de los individuos sino que sean responsible el individuo. George Phillies y El Partido Libertario quieren un EEUU donde existe la paz y la harmonia, donde se puede depender de sus propios productos, y donde el libre comercio puede beneficiar a todos en vez de una clase gobernante corrupta.

Por eso y mucho mas, un voto para Phillies y El Partido Libertario es un voto para el sue~no Americano.

The debates from the Democratic Party are devoid of content; the Republicans suffer the same fate. On the other hand, people prefer the antics of Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Luis Miguel [Mexican Singer who is controversial in Latin America and the US Latin Community]. The Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America suffer. The infrastructure in the USA continues to suffer. There is a time and reason for everything including a thorough review of the candidates and their position. My decision has been made already in supporting George Phillies and The Libertarian Party.

George Phillies and the Libertarian Party want an America where the Law and the Constitution is respected, with the withdrawal of the USA from International Organizations such as the UN [whose interests are contrary to the US]. George Phillies and the Libertarian Party wants the money used for the UN to go to the taxpayer so they could use the money as they see fit for health, education, and other factors in the daily life of the citizen.

George Phillies and the Libertarian Party want a Free Trade that will benefit those who work hard instead of the corrupt few. For this reason and much more, a Vote for Phillies and the Libertarian Party is a vote for the American Dream.

En otras noticias, el gobierno militar de Birmania [Myanmar] estan reclutando a los ni~nos mediante la fuerza para convertirlos en militares y paramilitares del gobierno. Un abuso total contra la infancia. Cualquier gobierno que maltrata un bebe, y/o un ni~no no merece sobrevivir.

Hay que apoyar los monjes y el pueblo de Birmania [Myanmar] en sus momentos mas dificiles en la lucha por la libertad y la dignidad.

It has come to the attention of our blog that Monks in Pakokkou, Burma defied the military crackdown to begin their protest against the military government ruling that country.

It has also been revealed that Burma’s Military Government has been recruiting children to become members of the Armed Forces. In other societies, this would count as child abuse in a physical and psychological sense. Any Government that abuses and mistreats its children deserves to be denounced and deposed.

The time has come to raise our voices in support of the Monks and the people of Burma [Myanmar] in their attempts to regain their liberty and dignity.

FIFA went ahead and issued warnings to Iran, the Central African Republic, and Peru that they are heading in the same direction as Kuwait. FIFA does the right thing in attempting to separate the state from the football teams so as not to create a climate of conflict of interest.

CONSIDERANDO

Que en la reunión de Cartagena, Colombia, en marzo de 2007, la Sociedad Interamericana de Prensa resolvió repudiar la decisión que, sin ninguna justificación legal y por razones políticas anunció el presidente Chávez de cerrar el primer canal del país, Radios Caracas Televisión y el gobierno amenazó con expropiar sus instalaciones.

CONSIDERANDO

Que el día 27 de mayo de 2007, el régimen del teniente coronel Chávez cerró, por razones evidentemente políticas, Radio Caracas Televisión y tomó sus plantas transmisoras en todo el país con la fuerza militar, confiscando los equipos para usuarios ilegalmente transmitiendo la señal de un nuevo canal del gobierno, como lo viene haciendo.

CONSIDERANDO

Que la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos de la OEA demandó ante la Corte Interamericana al Estado venezolano "por la violación de los derechos humanos relativos a la libertad de expresión, integridad personal, garantías judiciales y protección judicial de trabajadores y periodistas de Radio Caracas Televisión".

CONSIDERANDO

Que le consta a la SIP el rechazo masivo y ampliamente mayoritario por pare del pueblo y las instituciones de Venezuela a la medida de cierre y confiscación de los transmisores de Radio Caracas Televisión, ordenada por el presidente Chávez.

CONSIDERANDO

Que el cierre ordenado por Chávez contra Radio Caracas Televisión ha provocado el repudio mundial por entes de representación popular, organizaciones para la defensa de los derechos humanos, artistas, periodistas, medios de comunicación, estadistas, escritores y la gran comunidad democrática internacional.

CONSIDERANDO

Que en su empeño por difundir el ejercicio libre del periodismo y la labor de los medios de comunicación independientes, no subordinados al oportunismo inmoral y la autocensura, el régimen de Chávez adelanta acciones ilegales, violentas, arbitrarias y de toda índole contra el canal de noticias Globovisión.

CONSIDERANDO

Que en relación a los medios escritos, el régimen de control cambiario impuesto por el gobierno desde febrero de 2003 está presentando atrasos en el otorgamiento de divisas para pagar la importación de papel para periódicos y otros insumos específicos para la prensa que no se fabrican en Venezuela.

CONSIDERANDO

Que ante la denuncia y los reclamos públicos trascendidos a través de los medios de comunicación que aluden a la corrupción, impunidad, inseguridad, crisis de justicia, la ineficiencia del Estado y otras situaciones que conforman la realidad actual de Venezuela, el gobierno de Chávez ha cerrado las puertas de los organismos públicos a los periodistas y medios independientes, violentando el derecho constitucional que garantiza el libre acceso a las fuentes oficiales.

CONSIDERANDO

Que el gobierno del presidente Chávez ha continuado su práctica ilegal de utilizar la asignación de la publicidad oficial para favorecer a los medios gubernamentales y también aquellos que, abandonando los principios éticos, se han subordinado a la voluntad del régimen y asumido la autocensura.

CONSIDERANDO

Que la creciente concentración de medios en poder del gobierno de Chávez, así como el cierre y constantes ataques contra los medios de comunicación independientes, demuestran claramente la acción del régimen para controlar la información conforme a su anunciado plan de "hegemonía en los medios como instrumento necesario para la revolución".

CONSIDERANDO

Que el presidente Chávez, ejerciendo control de todos los poderes del Estado cuya autonomía constitucional ha conculcado, ordenó una reforma constitucional para eliminar derechos esenciales del pueblo venezolano como la libertad de expresión y de información, la propiedad privada y las normas que caracterizan a un Estado democrático.

CONSIDERANDO

Que tal reforma constitucional persigue la reelección ilimitada del Presidente, el control social absoluto y otorgaría poderes dictatoriales para el Jefe de Estado.

CONSIDERANDO:

Que los periodistas y medios de comunicación siguen enfrentando agresiones, intimidaciones y acciones judiciales por parte de organismos del Estado, como es el caso de Patricia Poleo, Miguel Angel Rodríguez, Gustavo Azócar, el Padre José Palmar, Leocenis García, José Rafael Ramírez, Wilmer Oquendo, Iris García, Roger Santodomingo, Yurimar Añez, Luis Felipe Colina, Anuska Buenaluque, Gil Montaño, Walter Córdova, Gina Reyes Dameis, Dimas Medina, Miguel Salazar; Gerardo Alvarez Narváez (asesinado por desconocidos)

CONSIDERANDO:

Que el Principio 6 de la Declaración de Chapultepec establece: " Los medios de comunicación y los periodistas no deben ser objeto de discriminación o favores en razón de lo que escriban o digan"

CONSIDERANDO:

Que el principio 10 de la Declaración de Chapultepec establece: "Ningún medio de comunicación o periodista debe ser sancionado por difundir la verdad, formular críticas o denuncias contra el poder público"

LA 63 ASAMBLEA DE LA SIP RESUELVE

Denunciar antes los organismos internacionales las violaciones a los derechos humanos por parte del régimen del presidente Chávez.

Respaldar la Relatoría Especial para la Libertad de Expresión de la Comisión Interamericana de los derechos Humanos de la OEA en la defensa responsable y oportuna de los principios que inspiran su acción. Apoyar también, específicamente, a la CIDH en la demanda planteada contra el Estado venezolano, representado por el régimen de Chávez, ante la Corte Interamericana por la violación de los derechos humanos relativos a la libertad de expresión, integridad personal, garantías judiciales y la protección judicial de trabajadores y periodistas de Radio Caracas Televisión.

Denunciar ante la comunidad internacional el carácter totalitario y dictatorial del gobierno del presidente de Venezuela, teniente coronel Hugo Chávez, quien pretende mediante reformas a la Constitución, adecuar el marco legal en Venezuela a sus violaciones contra los derechos ciudadanos.

Condenar el cierre, por razones políticas, del canal más antiguo y de mayor sintonía en Venezuela, Radio Caracas Televisión, por orden directa del presidente Chávez. Asimismo repudiar la confiscación de sus equipos de transmisión.

Condenar los ataques del presidente Chávez contra el canal de noticias GLOBOVISÓN, así como las medidas judiciales, administrativas y negación de frecuencias de transmisión con que el régimen trata de limitar la sintonía de ese medio de comunicación.

Denunciar la desproporcionada multiplicación de medios de comunicación propiedad del gobierno y la utilización de la asignación oficial para tratar de someter a control del régimen a medios de comunicación independientes.

Condenar y denunciar los ataques a medios de comunicación y periodistas por su ejercicio del derecho a la libertad de expresión y de información.

I myself have wandered why I as US Latin [Cuba and Spain] living in Miami Florida ended up supporting Chelsea. In fact, many in the USA have said that I was “demented” “in need of a psychiatrist”, and “possessed by a demon”. There have been many in Europe and in the UK who I know and have asked the same question. Even family members in Cuba wander what happened since this defies history.

For Cuba, I have only one answer. The events that happened in Cuba which lead me to be separated from my family pushed me in the direction of this new fund family called Chelsea. Since my family in Cuba were busy either surviving or constructing their revolution and my family in America were busy making ends meet, the first football games I managed to hear on a Shortwave Radio I received as a Christmas Present.

My long and winding road towards Chelsea started with my first trip to Europe in 1973 [Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and Switzerland].

It was in Europe that I started to learn the basics and started supporting Germany [especially Bayern Leverkussen] and Spain [La Coru~na]. It was a support that went with me in the USA, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic, and into the USA again [in the peninsula called Florida].

Through the years, I was ignorant of English Football until October 2002. On October 2002, I ended up in an intensive care unit secondary to food poisoning and almost died in the process. The Nurses were not nice and told me to go to sleep. It was then that I turned on the TV Set and saw the BBC. The BBC had pre recorded football games and seeing teams like Chelsea turned me on to English Football. After all, I owe my life to God, Family, and English Football.

After being saved by English Football, there was the need for a team. While supporting various teams, and writing about them in my blog, I looked at Chelsea and the great one Mourinho and I started supporting Chelsea.

Even though players and managers change, I find my love for Chelsea growing. I only regret that I did not convert at an earlier age but again it is better late than never. While I am 45 years old and in good health, [thanks to Chelsea] I hope one day to return to London [I visited in 1987] but this time to Stamford Bridge and enjoy a game from Chelsea.

Thank You Chelsea for assisting in my recovery and for being my family in Stamford Bridge.

El Juego de la NFL [Futbol Americano] entre Los Gigantes de Nueva York y los Delfines de Miami Florida fue un desastre. Lo positivo fue que se jugo en el Estadio Wembley en Londres para que el publico puede ver lo que es el Futbol de EEUU.

Lo malo fue la falta de tecnica y diciplina en el equipo de los Delfines de Miami Florida. Los Delfines siguen en la perdicion con perder casi 15 juegos seguidos. Senti como paciente que sufrio una amputacion de las piernas sin anestesia.

Para empeorar la situacion, un reportero de CBS 4 de Miami Florida sostuvo una discusion acalorada con los futbolistas en el puente Stamford. Este reportero se atrevio declarar que "el futbol americano es el verdadero futbol". Que clase de atrevimiento y discusion cuando el futbol de verdad nacio en los 1300's en Inglaterra [segun un documental de la BBC] mientras el futbol americano eran de los 1800's.

Aunque soy hincha de los Delfines de Miami, soy hincha del futbol verdadero. Incluso mis equipos de preferencia son Miami FC, Chelsea, Celtics, La Coru~na, Bayern Leverkussen. Incluso senti ofendido porque un periodista de EEUU [donde vivo] insulto mi equipo Chelsea. Para los EEUU, respeta mi futbol pues respeto todos los deportes.

The NFL Game between the Miami Dolphins and The New York Giants at Wembley Stadium in London England was a total disaster. The only good that came out of the game was that Great Britain could see an American Football Game and arrive at their conclusions with regards to the game.

The Negative was plenty in that the Dolphins did not have the techniques, the discipline, nor the fortitude to win. With their action, the Dolphins have lost almost 15 games in a row compared with Indianapolis having won almost 20 games in a row.

Another negative was that a reporter for CBS 4 News in Florida had an argument in Stamford Bridge with a Chelsea Supporter over which football was great. This "reporter" had the audacity to say that "American Football is Football".

I have some suggestions to this reporter since I am a US Citizen.

1. I Love the Miami Dolphins but leave my Chelsea FC Alone.
2. Please read the history of football.

Copei rechazó este domingo las declaraciones de funcionarios del gobierno contra el Cardenal Jorge Urosa Sabino, al señalar que la Iglesia Católica y sus representantes tienen el pleno respaldo del pueblo venezolano. El secretario general de la tolda verde, Luis Ignacio Planas, dijo desde el estado Zulia que "la Iglesia católica venezolana interpreta el sentimiento de la mayoría del pueblo, sus observaciones y su posición frente a la reforma no es otra cosa que la expresión de lo que piensa la gente en la calle, algo que dejó de hacer desde hace mucho tiempo este gobierno".

El Coordinador Nacional de Primero Justicia, Julio Borges, continuó su recorrido por el país para explicar los aspectos negativos que a su juicio tiene la propuesta de reforma a la Carta Magna. En el estado Aragua, criticó nuevamente el proyecto de cambios por considerar que no incluye a todos los venezolanos.

The Latest Project between Great Britain and Cuba is the so called “Cuban Initiative” which according to a report by the Cuban Government is nothing more than the Manso de Contreras Money being reinvested in different businesses such as tourism, electromagnetic industry, agriculture and …..

Within the last few years and even at the present moment, dozens of British Agents, Genealogists such as the Late Baroness Lady Janet Mary Young [who is Co President of the “Cuban Initiative” who was replaced by Patricia Scotland] have traveled on more than 8 occasions to Cuba. The above mentioned people have parked their private jets in the Jose Marti International Airport in La Habana Cuba for many months while working on the inheritance process.

The Manso de Contreras Family and their descendents want the British Authorities in the United States of America to know that we have knowledge of their proceedings and they are well documented.

It is a tragedy to think that the geriatric members of the Manso de Contreras Family had their hopes on receiving justice before they die only to have such hopes crushed by those who preach “Human Rights” without practicing it.

Como amo el futbol que aproveche la gente durmiendo en mi casa para ver el juego entre Santos y Atlas. El juego entre Santos y Atlas fue transmitido en vivo desde Guadalajara Edo Jalisco Mexico por Univision.

Los Santos aprovecharon de los errores de Atlas incluyendo un autogol de Jorge Torres para lograr su consagracion en la Liga Mexicana. El protagonista del juego fue Walter Jimenez con sus dos goles seguido por Ludue~na, y Francisco Torres.

My Love of football is such that I took advantage of my wife and daughter sleeping to watch a late night game between Santos and Atlas via Univision TV.

Santos took advantage of every mistake by Atlas including a self goal by Jorge Torres to consolidate its position in the Liga Mexicana. One of the principal players of this game was Walter Jimenez with his two goals followed by Ludue~na, and Francisco Torres.

The game was full of electricity with Atlas attempting to recover lost ground with goals by Valdes and Mendival. Atlas was unable to recover any lost ground and was receiving more like football’s equivalent of an electric shock.
