In the beginning of 2007, Scarborough FC was liquidated after nearly a century and a half as a football club. The end of 2007 has been a witness to the rebirth of Scarborough Athletic Football Club by the Seadog Trust [a trust formed for Scarborough Athletic Football Supporters].

As a testimony to the rebirth of Scarborough, Brian France [the manager at Boro] announced the signing of Anthony Bowsley, Andy Neill, and Ryan Blott to the team.

Scarborough Athletic will also be playing against Kirkbymoorside on the 13th of October 2007 for the North Riding Senior Cup. At the present time in the First Division of the NCEL Division, Scarborough Athletic are in Third Place with Nine Points.

It still remains to be seen whether this rebirth is temporary or permanent. It all depends on the support of those who have been with Scarborough [including those who signed the petition to save the previous Scarborough FC].

My best wishes for Scarborough Athletic in its game against Kirkbymoorside.

RENACIMIENTO EN SCARBOROUGH

2007 fue testigo de la muerte y el renacimiento del Club de Futbol de Scarborough. A partir de Agosto 2007, el Club de Futbol los Atleticos de Scarborough es uno de los primeros equipos cuyos due~nos son los hinchas.

El equipo parece tener un buen comienzo con la firma de Anthony Bowsley, Andy Neill, y Ryan Blott con el equipo. El club lleva ventaja con nueve puntos y en tercer lugar en la Liga de la Primera Division de la NCEL.

Solo el tiempo dira como sera el futuro de Scarborough y depende de los hinchas.

According to a documentary by the BBC, three people were nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in the 1930's and 1940's. Hitler, Stalin, and Gandhi were nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Gandhi was bypassed by the Nobel Committee in favour of Hitler and Stalin for their "efforts in promoting peace in Europe with the Pact of 1939". In other words, the Nobel Prize Committee wanted to award Hitler and Stalin the Nobel Peace Prize for dividing up Central Europe in 1939 and for the destruction of Poland and the Baltic States.

A Man of Peace and the Founding Father of the Modern State of India; Mahatma Gandhi was bypassed in favour of two European Murderers.

The Nobel Prize for Literature is another example of hypocrisy. Jorge Luis Borges who was an author from Argentina whose contribution to the literary world places him among the illustrious such as Thomas Mann was never awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. Even though Jorge Luis Borges opposed Argentinian President Juan Peron [1946-1955; 1973-1974], his comments about the Military Junta ruling Argentina [1976-1983] marked him as an individual who would never receive the Nobel Prize for Literature.

One member of the Nobel Committee for Literature even commented: "Jorge Luis Borges could be the best writer but he will never receive a Nobel Prize for Literature". Where did all of the objectivity of the Nobel Prize go?

The Nobel Prize should be objective and be awarded to people on the basis of merits. People who deserve the Nobel Prize for Peace are the following:

1. S.M. The King Father Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia for promoting peace via dialogue and culture.

2. The Monks of Myanmar [Burma] for standing up to a military junta that has destroyed a nation.

3. Fundacion Pies Descalzos [Bare Feet Foundation] by Colombian Rock Star Shakira. Shakira [via her foundation] has helped Colombians of low income receive education, nutrition, hope for a better life, improve their welfare when the Politicians [including Guerrillas] have done the opposite.

4. Alejandro Sanz, Illapu, Mana, Bono, U2, Aterciopelados, Julieta Venegas, Santana in their effort to promote peace via their foundations and their music

5. The Mexican Rock Star Alondra also deserves to be a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for her struggle against Poverty in cooperation with Bono and U2.

6. Sonia Deol of BBC Asian Network, Teresa Baugh, DDS, Marcia De Barros, RN, Neda Oqueli, RN for their efforts and promoting peace and improvement of the general welfare of the world in which they live in.

The first half of Chivas USA VS FC Dallas was dull yet the second half was exciting with Chivas USA in posession and both teams struggling to score a goal.

There were near goals, near misses, one ejection for foul language, and two bookings for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Roberto was hoping that Chivas USA would win but this was not to be.

At least, Chivas USA is more than classified for the MLS Finals. Chivas USA deserves more than the classification, it deserves to win the MLS Title for 2007.

Anoche vi el partido entre Chivas USA y FC Dallas transmitido en vivo por ESPN.
La Segunda Mitad del Juego tenia vida y emocion comparado con la primera. Aunque no hubo goles, el juego fue fenomenal. Tambien poder ver a Chivas USA es como ver la gloria del futbol.
Ojala si un dia puedo visitar a Chivas USA y presenciar uno de sus juegos en vivo.

Pero hay que recordar de la hipocresia de los Premios Nobel de la Paz. La BBC saco de su caja de los recuerdos lo que voy a contar.

En los 1930's, hubo tres nominaciones para el Premio Nobel de la Paz. Los nominados fueron Hitler, Stalin, y Gandhi. El Comite Nobel paso por al lado Mahatma Gandhi para nominar a Hitler y Stalin para el Premio de La Paz. La razon: "evitar la guerra en Europa mediante la division de Europa Central entre Alemania y la "URSS".

Considero que los nominados o las nominadas deben ser Alejandro Sanz, Illapu, Santana, y Mana por su defensa de la libertad mediante la lucha contra la pobreza.

Las nominadas deben ser Shakira pues su fundacion Los Pies Descalzos logro mas para Colombia que los politicos. Alondra con su lucha contra la pobreza merece un Premio Nobel de la Paz.

Sigue la lista de nominados pero hay que concluir que los Premios Nobel son un relajo pues los nominados y los que ganaron fue desastroso.
Los Premios de la Paz de Nobel fueron anunciado y quiero felicitar a Al Gore por recibir el premio.
