US Economy Freefall

The Republicans and Democratic Leadership have set the stage for a Stock Market Crash in 2008 and a civil war based on ethnicity, religion, race, and party lines. There is also the possibility that the Republicans and Democrats have also set the stage for the dissolution of America in cooperation with the people of Wall Street.

There have been many factors such as the crisis in Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Merrill Lynch with their financial problems, dubious lending practices, and renegotiating loans under dubious conditions. Even with the government regulating the commerce, the situation was going to go from bad to worse.

The Government under the Republicans and Democrats with their desire for power for everything have also prepared the stage for a Stock Crash in 2008. The Government has interfered in the lives of people with the Patriot Act and the Immigration Laws. The Republicans and Democrats have also interfered with economic transactions with their laws of Homeland Security and forcing people [including United States Nationals] to show their passports at border crossings. Many people who have the means to do so are leaving the USA and taking their money with them.

The Republicans and Democrats have also bankrupted the United States with a War In Iraq and a War Against Terrorism while victims of Katrina have lost their homes and properties.

The solutions are many but there has to be a start:

1. The Green Party of the United States [as well as Congressman Wexler, and Gutierrez] have initiated procedures of impeachment against Bush and Cheney. It is hoped that Bush and Cheney as well as the rest of the Republicans and Democrats are removed peacefully from power via impeachment before the 2008 Elections. The replacement should be a Government of National Concentration which would be in power and oversee the 2008 Elections.

2. The Electoral College, Primaries, and Caucuses should be abolished in favour of direct elections in which Libertarians, Greens and other peace loving parties are campaigning [instead of the Republicans, Democrats, Communists, and Nazis who should be forced to do the work of
undocumented workers or as some people in America say: "illegal aliens"].

3. A Libertarian Government which stresses individuality, term limits, responsibility, transparency.

4. Privatisation of ALL Government Enterprises including Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid. Whatever money collected for these programmes can be returned to those who paid originally so they could invest it in what is convenient. Get Government off the backs of people and companies.

5. Abolition of the Federal Reserve Board in favour of regional banks and a Gold/Silver Standard.

6. Arrest those responsible for the Economic Mess and if found guilty, punish them by making them do the work of undocumented workers.

US Financial Mess: Bush and Cheney Should Resign

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2008-01-18 - 21:48:41

I feel that the Republicans and Democrats are to blame for this mess. In fact, Congressmen Wexler included the economic situation as another reason to impeach Bush and Cheney. The situation in the economy will resolve itself by impeaching Bush and Cheney before the 2008 Elections. In fact, a Libertarian Government would do better than the current mess we have.

As a US Citizen by birth, 9/11 changed everything for the worst and I am not surpirsed. There has been increasing polarization based on politics, ethnicity, and race. The Republicans and Democrats have trampled the Constitution. The Society at large has become indifferent because it is being fed Britney Spears, Big Brother, and Paris Hilton. Unless there is a Libertarian/Green Government and a return to the values embodied by the Constitution, the USA may go the way of the Roman Empire.

I have lost confidence in the stock market. In fact, I sold my shares and transferred money to a retirement fund.

USA Women’s Team Wins Again in China

At the 2008 Four Nations Tournament in China, the USA Women’s Team played their second match against Finland. It appears that the USA is on to something. It also appears that the USA Women’s Team has rejuvenated from a new leadership and its first victory over Canada.

Lindsey Tarpley appeared to have been helped in the first half by Abby Wambach when she passed the ball to Tarpley to score two points in the first half.

Even though [in the second half] Finland almost scared the USA by scoring one goal and almost equalizing, the USA was able to take advantage of the situation and surprise Finland with two more goals by Lauren Cheney and Angie Woznuk.

The USA Women’s Team played a great game but they have to refine more the techniques so as to prevent other teams from taking advantage of any open weak spots.

Finland played a great game even though they lost. They needed at least a win after losing to China but they were unable to equalize because of an inability to capitalize on any weakness on the part of the US Team.

At the present time, the USA is in First Place in the 2008 Four Nations Tournament with seven points. Everything depends on the game between the USA and China.

USA 4-1 Finland

USA: 7/10
Finland: 3/10
