Maradona VS Morales

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2008-03-15 - 16:21:44

According to the Voice of Russia World Service in English, Diego Maradona announced that he will play against Bolivian President Evo Morales a special football game in the highest areas to protest against the FIFA Ruling about what constitutes football. Is this a legitimate form of protest or is it a publicity stunt?

George Phillies for President 2008

Phillies Leads in Individual Contributions.
FEC reports reveal how much each Presidential candidate has spent on his own campaign, and how much money supporters have donated to their favorite candidate.
From the latest FEC financial reports, George Phillies leads in donations from other supporters, with $15360. Steve Kubby is second at $13836. In campaign contributions from the candidate, Phillies is first at $81527 and Root is second at $4421. In campaign borrowing from the candidate, Jingozian is first at $187,721, Imperato is second at $38,000, and Jackson is third at $36,447. According to their most recent filings, neither Kubby nor Smith has invested their own money in their campaign.
Commenting on the financial results to date, Phillies reminded Libertarian readers "There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch. If you don't want much of a Presidential campaign, all you need to do is not invest much time or money in it. Between Hillary 'It takes a village to bankrupt a taxpayer' Clinton and John 'Hundred Years of War' McCain, we Libertarians have great opportunities, but so far we aren't taking advantage of them. It's your call."
The following table shows current FEC results. Dollar totals are truncated.
