Open Letter to Nancy Pelosi

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2008-03-21 - 14:28:55

Dear Ms. Pelosi:

You and the rest of the Washington Elite have no right in criticizing another country for human rights "violations" and have no right to demand an inquiry into what is an internal affair of another country without taking a look inside our home.

1. Bush and Company committed abuses that are impeachable and you do nothing.

2. You used Cindy Sheehan as toilet paper but discarded her when she rightfully talked about the sins of the Republicans and Democrats.

3. The Republicans and Democrats [you included] are nothing more than hypocrites without morals when you proclaim freedom but deny the rights of Libertarians and Greens to present candidates using discriminatory laws and requirements to prevent greater citizen participation.

4. What about the lack of confidence in the White House, the Judicial System, and Congress?
The American People demand more and receive less.

You do not have to answer. I am not a constituent and I am a Libertarian. I am proud of being a Libertarian and their message of freedom, responsibility, less government, and not enslaved to the so called "Moral" Liberals and Conservatives who are using the politics of old in a new century.

HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II EASTER MESSAGE

by AlvarezGalloso @ 2008-03-21 - 14:27:33

HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II EASTER MESSAGE
- GREGORIAN CALENDAR 2008-

Once again Easter is approaching, one of the greatest Christian holidays that mark both the Passion and the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

This holiday is a victory of light over darkness and of life over death. It is a guiding light to us all.

We need to reflect upon our deeds and thoughts, as we are not alone in this world, and our lives here have a deeper meaning.

Let us in our thoughts and prayers ask that people in this country act responsibly, and let us hope the international community will do the same. Let us do what we can, as much as we are capable of doing, for the benefit of our loved ones and for the future of Serbia.

The difficult times shall at one time pass. Let us remember that Christ suffered at the Golgotha for the sake of us all. Let us remember that we are all His children and that His sacrifice was made for the sake of our salvation!

Let us remember His way and try to become better in every way that we can, as individuals and as a people!

Christ is risen!

Indeed He is risen!

Government is not the panacea for an ailing economy: Libertarian Party

Government is not the panacea for an ailing economy

The Libertarian Party warns against excessive government regulation in response to a staggering economy

Washington, D.C. - The Libertarian Party is warning against excessive and rash government intervention in the U.S. economy in response to recent market woes. Libertarian Party National Chairman William Redpath commented today:

"It is almost as if Congress and the President set out to do something half-baked and cheesy in response to this nation's economic problems. They won't give serious solutions the time of day, such as substantially reducing government spending, reducing taxes and reforming the tax code. If the government really wanted to fix the economy, they would start by getting rid of the junky hodge-podge of deductions and credits, lowering tax rates to stimulate entrepreneurial activity and risk taking, and addressing the trillions of dollars of unfunded entitlements in Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. If these problems are not substantively addressed soon, foreigners through the world's financial markets may ultimately make the tough decisions for this nation. Let's hope economic sensibility and spine become the order of the day in Washington before then."

Professionally, Redpath is a Vice President with BIA Financial Network, Inc., which offers merchant banking and financial and strategic advisory services for the media, telecommunications, and related industries.

The Libertarian Party's platform calls for a separation of "economy and state," saying, "the only proper role of existing governments in the economic realm is to protect property rights, adjudicate disputes, and provide a legal framework in which voluntary trade is protected."

Executive Director of the Libertarian Party, Shane Cory, stated:

"The idea that the federal government can micromanage the world's largest economy is absurd, but this is exactly what the Bush administration is trying to do. The best option for long-term economy growth is to keep the government out of the economy by reducing taxes and eliminating regulations of American businesses. Of course, tax reductions need to be offset by reductions in spending, which is something the Bush administration has struggled with for the past seven years. However, as more people look to the government for help with the economy, the worse the situation will become."

The Libertarian Party is America's third largest political party, founded in 1971 as an alternative to the two main political parties.
