1. Como fue el comienzo de Johnny Vasquez como artista?

Wow,mi carrera empezó desde que yo tenía 6 años,
aunque a los 14 o 15 empecé a cantar musica cristiana, luego
al mudarme a Los Angeles, CA empezé a cantar musica secular!
Empece a cantar en el Club Nocturno “El Caché”,
fue una experiencia inolvidable.

2. Leyendo su trayectoria, viviste en Los Angeles y ahora vives en
Nashville. Los Angeles y Nashville son dos ciudades distintas, fue
dificil grabar "Lo Mejor De Mi" en Nashville Tennessee?

En realidad fue una experiencia muy bonita porque utilizamos varios
estudios cada uno muy diferente del otro y sobre todo cuando grabamos
las canciones de “Besandola” y “She's an Army of
One” que fueron grabadas en “The Tracking Room” uno
de los mejores estudios de Nashville, pero tambien se grabaron voces
en otros estudios.

3. Cual fue su inspiracion para grabar "Lo Mejor De Mi"?

En realidad “Lo Mejor de Mí” es una Copilacion de
mis dos anteriores producciones “De Piel a Cuerpo” y
“Enamorado Estoy” y se agregaron dos canciones mas que
son “This Love” y “She's Army of One” como
un crossover al mercado anglosajón.

4. Te felicito por grabar "She's An Army of One" para los
soldados del sexo femenino en las Fuerzas Armadas. Como fue su
inspiracion para grabar un disco de ese significado?

Admiro mucho a esas mujeres que han dejado todo atras para servir a su
patria, se que en las fuerzas armadas de Los Estados Unidos hay
muchas mujeres que son madres, hijas, esposas, hermanas y a pesar de
todo eso lo han dejado todo atras para luchar por sus ideales.

5. Porque los cantautores no reciben la publicidad que merecen? He oido
muchos cantautores como tu, y Nil Lara y considero una injusticia
que su musica no recibe tanta publicidad como merece.

Yo tambien lo considero una injusticia, creo que una de las cosas es
por falta de tener los contactos y fondos adecuados, aunque a veces
tiene mucho que ver con las companias disqueras, tienen toda la
plata del mundo y promueben musica que es mas comercial no
importando el mensaje, porque lo mas importante para ellos no es el
talento si no ganar mas dinero y le meten la musica si se puede
llamar musica hasta en la sopa a la gente. Es triste pero es una
realidad, ojala y la gente empieze a despertar y a reconocer la
buena musica y el buen talento.

Por supuesto! Uno de mis projectos es hacer un disco solo con guitarra,
quiza se el proximo pero todavia es incierto, pero si espero que

8. Cual fue la inspiracion para sus discos: "Enamorado Estoy"
y "De Piel A Cuerpo"?

La inspiracion siempre ha sido el amor, la vida, la soledad, soy una
persona bastante solitaria y es cuando mas viene la inspiracion.

9. Cual consejo darias a los que quieren iniciar su carrera de
artista?

Que lo hagan por amor y no porque piensen o crean que van a enriquecer
porque en esta carrera se sufre pero cuando uno ama lo que hace lo
disfruta siempre especialmente en el escenario.

10. Entere que posiblemente tendras un programa en la television, te
felicito. Como sera el formato o el tema central de ese programa de
television?

Mi disquera es la que tiene esos planes, todavia esta en veremos porque
tengo planes de cambiar casa disquera.

Terry Bradshaw had an impressive record in his career, such as nine hundred thirty two yards with nine touchdowns within four Super Bowl Games. He was able to complete two hundred and sixty one passes with three thousand eight hundred and thirty three yards within nineteen postseason games. Terry Bradshaw was able to complete two thousand and twenty five out of three thousand nine hundred and one passes in order to obtain twenty seven thousand nine hundred and eighty nine yards and two hundred and twelve touchdowns during his years with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Terry Bradshaw also rushed four hundred and four times for two thousand two hundred and fifty seven yards to make thirty two touchdowns to close his time with the Steelers.

Terry Bradshaw was also named by the Associated Press as the Most Valuable Player in the NFL, All Pro and All AFC Player in 1978. He also participated in three Pro Bowl Games. All of this during his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers between 1970 to 1983 that he has participated in helping the local community that has given him so much. Terry Bradshaw was one of the first football players who also experimented with other professions. I remember seeing him in the 1981 Comedy called "Cannonball Run" with other stars such as Burt Reynolds, Dom De Luise, Dean Martin, Mel Tillis, Jackie Chan, Roger Moore and Sammy Davis Jr. In my opinion, he was one of the few football players that successfully made the transition to show business and the media. It was his experience in the film “Cannonball Run” that prepared him for the future as a sports commentator.

In order to write about the Los Angeles Galaxy, there has to be an overview of the events that lead to its formation in 1995. The initial event was the World Cup held in the United States of America in 1994. The world laughed at the possibility of the World Cup being held in the United States in 1994. FIFA even had a conversation with the United States Soccer Association in which one of the issues that needed to be resolved immediately was the establishment of a National League like the English Football League or FA. The agreement was that a league would be established and that was the MLS or Major League Soccer.

THE ACTUAL HISTORY

After the founding of the MLS [Major League Soccer], the Los Angeles Galaxy was founded in 1995 and played the first game of its existence in 1996 against the Metro Stars and won 2-1. The first game of the Los Angeles Galaxy took place at the Rose Bowl. The reason for the name was the fact that Los Angeles was the home to Hollywood and its movie stars. Regardless of the name, the Los Angeles Galaxy started making history and had its own stars like Cobi Jones, Landon Donovan, Alexi Lalas, Carlos Ruiz, and Alejandro Moreno.

The Los Angeles Galaxy had a glorious history within the first decade. Examples of such history were its greatest victory over the Dallas Burn in the Cotton Bowl in 1998, victory at the US Open Cup [in 2001 and 2005] as well as the MLS Cup [in 2002 and 2005]. The Los Angeles Galaxy was also the winner of the Supporters Shield [in 1998 and 2002] as well as the Western Conference [in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2002].

The Los Angeles Galaxy went into a period pf mourning after the death of their general manager Doug Hamilton after returning from Costa Rica. The period of mourning which lasted from 2006 to 2007 was a period of reflection and a period of losses. It was at this desperate moment that the Los Angeles Galaxy decided to make their version of spring cleaning. The Los Angeles Galaxy changed their symbol, made a new motto "The Stars Align", and signed David Beckham with the hope that he could turn things around.

The day Beckham arrived in Los Angeles California was a day of glory in US Football [Soccer]. While people attempt to deny the day of glory, it was as if the Earth has shaken with David Beckham arriving as a conquering hero in the stadium while Victoria Beckham conversed with Eva Longoria and the rest of Hollywood in the first day of Beckham's presence in Los Angeles. It will not be denied that David Beckham may not have played and there were disappointments but this is life. In fact, Los Angeles Galaxy won third place in the first Pan Pacific Championship in Hawaii in 2008 with Beckham participating.

It has come to my attention after reading the web pages of CBS 2, that Beckham will have the option of purchasing the Los Angeles Galaxy when his contract expires. While there has been no comments from David Beckham or the Los Angeles Galaxy, I consider this is a positive option which could help the Los Angeles Galaxy and Football [Soccer] in the United States in the near future. I told this news story to my wife. My wife is now a convert to Football [Soccer] in the United States.

Phillies on Medical Care Costs: There are no Magic Cures

Worcester, Mass. March 21 — Libertarian Presidential candidate George Phillies today urged simple steps to reduce the cost of medical insurance. “There are no magic cures,” Phillies said. “I am proposing Libertarian improvements in our medical care system. These are changes Americans will actually accept and implement now. Once Americans see these changes work, they will be more ready to trust more radical Libertarian proposals.

“First, transfer costs should be eliminated. Right now, anyone who comes to a hospital emergency room gets free care even if they don’t have health insurance. That care is emergency room care, some of the most expensive medical care there is. Who pays for it? It’s a transfer cost, an ‘administrative cost’ charged to your health insurance, which in turn raises your rates. Transfer costs exist because Congress passed an unfunded mandate requiring hospitals to give free care.

“Unfunded mandates should be repealed. If Congress insists on giving away free medical care — not my recommendation — they should pay the costs. Replacing an unfunded mandate and a hidden cost transfer with a funded mandate eliminates a tax–the hidden tax on your health insurance. It makes that cost visible and makes Congress answerable for it. That’s the first step in the right direction.

“Second, drug costs come partly from redundant safety approvals. Medical drugs approved for use in Europe should be accepted for use here without having to go through another approval process. 100,000 American lives could have been saved by bringing beta blockers to the American market as soon as they were approved in Europe.

“Third, tax treatment for medical care costs should be the same for everyone. No matter whether your employer buys your insurance, you buy your insurance, or you pay out of pocket, your spending should have the same tax treatment.

“Fourth, we should allow interstate competition in medical insurance because competition is good. Now in 2008, your insurance costs can change several-fold simply by your moving residence across state lines. Interstate commerce will eliminate inequalities in the market.

“I’m not going to make miraculous promises about preventive medicine. Americans can do some things for themselves to help live a healthier life. See a physician regularly and follow your physician’s advice. Advice like: Avoid tobacco smoke. Achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Exercise vigorously and regularly. Maintain your adult vaccinations. Wear your seat belt. Have the routine screening exams that work. The old adage that an ounce of prevention beats a pound of cure is true, especially if that ‘cure’ involves high emergency room costs.

“I’m not going to tell you fairy tales about tort reform greatly reducing costs. We have lawsuits because medical people sometimes make gross blunders. People injured by incompetence or negligence deserve compensation. I encourage individual states to experiment with radically different tort and insurance rules. That helped with no-fault auto insurance.”

“I’m not proposing pie-in-the-sky philosophical purist changes,” Phillies said. “I’m not proposing miracles. I’m proposing changes that Americans will understand and find attractive. I’m proposing solutions that move us in the Libertarian direction and that can be implemented today.”
